Janak Padhya comes from a distinguished lineage of Audichya Shastra Brahmin priests in Siddhpur, Gujarat, India. From childhood, he nurtured a deep devotion to Lord Shiva and Hindu worship, inheriting profound knowledge of Vedic mantras from his scholarly ancestors and gurus. This rich heritage forms the foundation of his spiritual journey and priestly calling.
As an independent, full-time Hindu priest serving the Portland, Oregon community and beyond, Pandit Janak Padhya specializes in authentic Vedic ceremonies conducted with unwavering devotion. With over 15 years of experience, he masterfully recites Sanskrit mantras while providing clear explanations in English, Gujarati, and Hindi—ensuring every participant understands the sacred significance of each ritual, from Vastu Puja (his particular expertise) to Satyanarayan Katha, baby Sanskaras, and Antyesti rites.
